Virtual Ceramic Craft Fair: Bill Jones

I make traditional style country pottery consisting of garden pots and kitchen tableware all hand-thrown on the potter’s wheel and decorated using coloured slips and glazes.  I also supply two local garden centres with with handmade terracotta flower pots in response to the latest increased interest in gardening activities.

Some of my larger bowls and platters are decorated under a mix of a dark-honey glaze and an opaque-white tin glaze which gives a somewhat random yet pleasing crackle or crazed effect. All my table ware is oven proof and dishwasher safe.

I also teach pottery in my workshop near Liskeard and offer individual or small group sessions.
