G7: An Event for Everyone

The G7 will see leaders from seven of the world’s biggest economies meet in Carbis Bay between June 11-13 to discuss some of the major challenges facing us all, with a focus on climate change and the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

But away from the summit itself, organisations all over Cornwall – from volunteer and community groups to green energy providers and charities – are taking the opportunity to create their own, alternative G7, where they’ll focus on the issues that are important to them.

Cornwall Council is bringing all these different events together into one place under the banner of An Event for Everyone.

On the Event for Everyone page you’ll find a calendar for all the events taking place across Cornwall over the weekend of the G7 and in the days leading up to it, from alternative summits to wildlife walks and everything in-between.

So, if you want to know more about an event taking place near you, you can find out when and where it’s happening right here.

And if you’re running an event of your own and would like to see it listed, you can get in touch with us by email at G7cornwall@cornwall.gov.uk.
