Knightor Winery

Knightor is a working winery, wedding and events venue, nestled above St Austell Bay and a stones throw from the Eden Project. Aside from producing premium still and sparkling wines and Cornish vermouth, they host incredible feasts and celebrations using the finest local produce and award winning English wine. These feats fall on Friday evenings throughout the year and each feast is different from BBQ’s and world food menus to wine paired dinners. If the weather is good then feasts take place outside in the courtyard or around the grounds, for winter and wet weather feasts are held in the gorgeous vaulted barn.

Wine tours and tasting also take place at the Vineyard throughout the year so you can see witness the process of the wine making journey and sample some of the finest produce the winery makes. 

Drop in and try what you like in the shop bar, with small sample measures available of their wines. Please feel free to browse around the site and look at the vine varieties we use to make wine in the UK. Knightor also has a small orchard and herb garden, from which some of their own produce is grown for their kitchen and winery.

Alternatively take a tour of Knightor, from April to October, they host regular wine tours and tastings that are informative, interesting and fun. Knightor offers a variety of experiences, from finding out more about wine in general, growing grapes and making wine in the Cornish/English climate, to more in-depth special ‘winemaker’ tours that will explore themes such as food and wine pairing or focus on their sparkling selection or English Vermouth. 

From historic granite barns, 4 acres of Cornish hedgerows, pasture and orchards, Knightor is a perfect location to hold weddings and events and if you want to spend more than one day out at Knightor, their on site accommodation is the perfect solution to extend your stay.
