Grampound Bowling Club
Grampound Bowling Club has been in the village of Grampound with Creed for over 90 years. It was founded in 1927 at The Recreation Ground. Previously there was a club with rinks at Creed Rectory and Quarry Parc before joining together to make Grampound Bowling Club. A new clubhouse was built in 1960. The Grampound Ladies’ Section was formed in 1973.
The club is located between Truro and St Austell. When you enter the village either way, you will see the brown sign saying “Grampound Bowling Club” just outside the school. When you enter the Recreation Ground, the bowling club is right in front of you. There is limited parking outside the clubhouse although there is room in the Recreation Ground car park.
