St Austell Voice - Biddicks Court

St Austell Voice reports on the Cornish Honeybee commission in Biddick's Court which is creating a buzz amongst the locals. The Honeybee is one of 14 new ceramic artworks that are due to be installed in the town centre. Each artwork is being made by a world renowned ceramic artist in order to celebrate St Austell and its history of china clay.

St Austell Voice - Spaceman

Cleo's spaceman lands in Old Vicarage Place as the fist Whitegold art commission is unveiled. Spaceman is one of 14 installations due to be unveiled in the town centre to promote pride in the local community and to establish St Austell as the home of china clay.

Cornish Guardian - Spaceman

The Cornish Guardian reports of Cleo Mussi's Space Man, an art commission that has just landed in the town centre. Mussi's work is set to the be the first in a trail of artworks throughout the town as part of a regeneration project by the Austell Project and Austell Ceramic.

Brick project lays the foundations for preserving local clay heritage reports St Austell Voice. Brickfield is an initiative of the Austell Project and Austell Ceramic which aims to restore pride in St Austell and its history in china clay. Brickfield is hosting brick making workshops at Blackpool pit with the products of the workshops being used for a local building project in the future.

BBC Online - Spaceman

BBC Online have written a spotlight article on Cleo Mussi's Spaceman, a mosaic featuring a space man who is also a seed scientist has appeared in St Austell. The work is part of the Austell Project's Ceramic initiative to install ceramic artwork in the town centre.

Wheal Martyn highlights the beauty of china clay country this weekend. A new exhibition by the Austell Project featuring Quartz winner Neil Brownsword is due to be unveiled at Wheal Martyn. The exhibition celebrates china clay as a raw material and its history in the St Austell bay area.

The Cornish Guardian celebrates the wildflower verges along the A390. The Austell Project and Austell Green have just finished the planting of the wildflowers along the stretch of road into St Austell, to welcome visitors in the local area and to boost pride in the community.

Second phase of wildflower planting underway on the A391 for the Austell Project. The wildflower corridor has been commissioned as part of the Austell Green pillar of the Austell Project, aiming to promote pride in the local area and to welcome visitors to St Austell via a parade of floral colour.

The wildflower corridor has been planted along the A391 so that visitors are welcomed into the town by a riot of colour. It's the first of its kind in Cornwall and will re-bloom each year to brighten the natural landscape. The wildflower corridor is an initiative of the Austell Project and Austell Green.

Muddy Stilettos - Brickfield Workshops

Brickfield's brick making workshops are featured in Muddy Stilettos article on things to do in Cornwall. Brickfield is part of Austell Ceramic and the Austell Project. They are hosting brick making workshops at the Blackpool pit, the workshops encourage members of the public to come and make their own brick using local materials which will then be fired and used for a local building project.
