Earth Goddess – touted as south-west England’s answer to the Angel of the North – will be unveiled in Cornwall in April. At the moment the vividly coloured pieces are dotted around Sandy Brown’s studio, a former sailmaking loft in the north Devon shipbuilding town of Appledore.
