Porthpean Beach

As well as being great for sandcastle building and picnicking, at low tides, a large rock pool area is revealed, giving you the perfect opportunity to explore some of the ocean’s aquatic wildlife.

The clear water and calm conditions also make it a great snorkelling spot and you will often find swimmers armed with snorkels and flippers taking advantage of this.

Access is down a steady slope, giving good disabled access and is just minutes from the private car park. There are toilets, beach shop and café located on the beach, making it a very convenient location for a day out with the family.

Four legged friends are welcome at Porthpean Beach outside of the seasonal ban of Easter Sunday through to September 30th.
