Cornwall Live - Wildflower Corridor

Gorgeous to look at, easy to manage, beloved habitats to many species in search of a home and the perfect excuse to stop mowing the lawn: welcome to the wildflower garden. Cornwall Live reports on the new wildflower corridor that has been planted along the A310 to welcome visitors in the town. The wildflower corridor is an initiative of the Austell Project and Austell Green.

Cornish Guardian - Wildflowers

The Cornish Guardian celebrates the wildflower verges along the A390. The Austell Project and Austell Green have just finished the planting of the wildflowers along the stretch of road into St Austell, to welcome visitors in the local area and to boost pride in the community.

St Austell Voice - Austell Project

The Austell Project is bringing a whole host of activity into the town in 2020 - from multiple new art installations and specialist horticulture commissions, to spectacular one-day festivals for all the family reports the St Austell Voice. The initiatives of the project aim to restore pride in the local community and attract new visitors to the St Austell Bay area.

St Austell Voice - St Austell's Garden Festival

The St Austell Voice celebrates St Austell's Garden Festival and its effects on the town centre. Austell Project's Garden Festival was a huge success this year and drew in lots of local people in to the town centre to learn about gardening, edible plants, foraging and many other 'green' things.

Cornwall Today - International Ceramics Prize

Cornwall Today celebrates the winners of this year's Whitegold International Ceramics Prize. Neil Brownsword is the winner of the Quartz award and Tana West is the winner of the Feldspar award. Both artists are now working in collaboration with the Austell Project to produce pieces of work that celebrate china clay and promote pride in the local community.

Positive News - Cornish Honeybee

Positive News celebrates the Cornish Honeybee, a new ceramic art installation that has been unveiled in St Austell's town centre. The honeybee is one of the 14 commissions that will be installed in the town centre that are being created by world renowned ceramicists. The Cornish Honeybee is part of the Austell Project and Austell Ceramic.
