St Austell Arts Theatre puts on a year-round programme of professional and community events and for both St Austell’s residents and visitors alike. A small licensed bar is available and opens up for all events at the Theatre.

The theatre is fully accessible, just off the A390 which is the main St Austell to Truro Road.

All of the rooms, including the theatre which offers 144 seats are available for hire and are currently in use for a wide range of events such as; U3A meetings, dance classes, bridge, yoga, rehearsals and meetings.

In 2019 the centre were awarded a grant of almost £40,000 from the coastal communities fund towards making improvements.

There are different weight categories offering training classes for everyone starting from 4 years of age for males and females.

Training 5 days a week, there are plenty of opportunities to come and give it a try.

You will learn proper boxing technique without any pressure to step into the ring. Getting into the ring is simply a step forward in your boxing career.

Boxing training provides some of the best all over body conditioning you can get, no matter what your age or level of ability. It’s a great way of improving stamina and boosting the cardiovascular system while improving core strength and balance.

What ever happens from your time at the boxing club it only matters that you have fun and learn something.

St Austell Society of Artists are a warm and friendly group of all ages and abilities. They work in a variety of styles and mediums and host a wide range of activities including workshops, visiting artists and talks and demonstrations. New members are always welcome.
