St Austell Coastguard

St Austell Coastguard are part of H.M Coastguard. Made up of volunteers who respond to coastal and maritime emergencies from Black Head to Lostwithiel and beyond.

They are a team of 12 who are on call 24 hrs a day 7 days a week. The team consists of a station officer, deputy station officer and 10 team members.

They specialise in cliff rescue and water based rescue. The team are from all walks of life who come together to put their various skills into action to support the community and visitors.
