St Austell Community Fire Station

St Austell Community Fire Station is a day staffed station with emergency response being provided by the Oragne Watch and Green Watch, as well as an on-call crew.
As well as covering the main St Austell area, the station’s appliances provide a first response to Trewoon, Sticker, Bugle, Luxulyan, St Blazey, Carlyon Bay and Grampound.
Every year in June, the station hosts Junior Life Skills week – an even that sees schoolchildren from across the area visit the station and experience a number of safety related activities. Running throughout the week, more than 600 children attend!

In a bid to spread the word about fire safety the various crews in the area frequently visit children’s groups, carry out door-to-door free home safety visits and regularly attend local events to further promote fire safety in the home.
