Cornwall FootballGolf celebrates silver & bronze at the 2019 Cornwall Tourism Awards
On Thursday 7th November Owner Angelee Robinson, Manager Lauren Bennett, Staff members Kaitlyn Harris and Charlotte Whitmore left the footballs at home and headed to Truro Cathedral to enjoy the annual Cornwall tourism awards celebration.
Earlier in the year Cornwall FootballGolf had entered into two award categories for the 2019 Cornwall Tourism Awards the “small attraction of the year” and the “active and sporting experience” The team were delighted to be announced as finalists in both categories where they could achieve gold, silver or bronze and on the night the St Austell based attraction scooped silver in the small attraction of the year category and bronze in the active and sporting experience.
The awards capped a fantastic year for the attraction as they also hosted the 2019 World FootballGolf championships attracting just under 150 players from all over the world to the weeklong event.
Owner Angelee Robinson said: Its a really great honour to have achieved these awards and it really is a testament to the girls here tonight and everyone that works with us, we always try to make sure everyone that comes to Cornwall FootballGolf gets an enjoyable experience from the moment they arrive to when they leave us, we really focus a lot on the customer service side to make sure everyone has a great time!
