The Eden Project

An unforgettable experience in an epic location. The Eden Project is home to a dramatic global garden the size of thirty football pitches, nestling like a lost world in an old quarry near St Austell Bay. One of its giant biomes is a majestic rainforest cathedral, the other is host to the fruits of the Mediterranean and the flowers of South Africa and California. Outside in the landscaped grounds you will find tea, lavender, sunflowers and many art sculptures and activities.

Eden is a place to tell a hundred stories about the connection between plants and people. From cocoa and coffee to bananas and rubber. From paper and wine to perfume and brewing, medicine to construction, there is so much to discover and learn..

There’s an ever-growing variety of things for the kids to enjoy year round, with fantastic play equipment, outdoor trails, and even adventure activities (additional cost applies). Don’t miss the Rainforest Canopy Walkway where you can climb above the treetops and get a bird’s eye view of the rainforest from high above the forest floor!

Dogs are welcome at Eden. They must be kept on a lead at all times and are not permitted in most indoor areas, including the Biomes (with the exception of guide or assistance dogs).

Eden Sessions host a line up of different musicians every summer with outdoor concerts in the grounds near the biomes, with limited numbers all concerts are an intimate and unforgettable experience.

There is a full programme of events and community activities throughout the year. Visit their website for full details here.
