White River Place, St Austell - Green 'n' Clean Together
To launch the White River Place environmental theme of 'Green 'n' Clean Together', linking with St Austell Fresh Green Futures and celebrating the many green places and fabulous gardens that surround our wonderful town, we invited local school children to create a bright, rainbow coloured flower or tree. We had over 1,700 children taking part and received some truly fantastic ideas and drawings. The top 5 from each participating school are being displayed on a 'Green 'n' Clean Together' garden design board in our centre. We hope that you enjoy the creativity of our local Guerilla Kids!

£10.79m Funding secured for StARR project
Steve Double, Member of Parliament for St Austell and Newquay has secured an additional £10.79m of Government funding for the St Austell Bay Resilient Regeneration project (STARR).
The STARR project aims to reduce flood risk to communities living and working in the St Austell Bay area, particularly in Par and St Blazey. The proposed scheme will bring additional benefits to the area by encouraging investment and making St Austell Bay a better place to work, live and play.
As a result of funding supporters say there will be further opportunities for local people to be involved in more detailed proposals before the scheme is implemented.
